Why PeetchMe?
PeetchMe is a solution designed for entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs. Our starting point is a simple and well-known problem: the difficulty of finding a partner. We're not talking about a life partner, but a working partner. Many people who have already launched a project know that finding the right partner is not an easy task. Many people who have started a business with a close friend or family member have later regretted their choice.
Indeed, finding a partner with whom you are compatible, both professionally and on a human level, is one of the keys to success. It's for all these entrepreneurs that we created PeetchMe. We have developed a solution that enables entrepreneurs to find the ideal partner for their specific needs.
What about the market?
PeetchMe differs from rival platforms such as CoFoundersLab and AngelList, which focus primarily on networking and recruitment, without offering specific tools for assessing personal and professional compatibility. This presents an opportunity for PeetchMe to integrate psychometric tests and AI algorithms for more accurate matches. What's more, the user experience on these platforms is often complex, which allows PeetchMe to stand out with an intuitive interface and a simplified journey.
The startup market continues to grow, with increased demand for digital networking solutions and AI tools for professional matchmaking. Users are looking for partners aligned with their values and long-term goals, which underlines the importance of holistic compatibility in PeetchMe's proposition.
Who are our users?
During our ‘speed meeting’ with potential users, we identified three key personas for PeetchMe: the Beginning Entrepreneur, the Experienced Startup, and the Freelancer looking for collaborations. Each group expressed the need for a tool to assess personal and professional compatibility before committing to a partnership. Beginners are looking for a trusted partner and advice, experienced start-ups want complementary partners quickly, and freelancers are looking for well-defined collaborations. The empathy maps created for each persona highlighted their specific motivations and needs, underlining the importance of personalising the user experience on PeetchMe.
PeetchMe's graphic identity
A start-up must be identifiable by its logo. PeetchMe's concept is represented in its logo: using a conversation ‘bubble’ to symbolise an individual's ‘speech’, also manifested by the two ‘e ’s in PeetchMe.
The graphic charter has been defined with a modern and engaging colour palette, combined with typography that reinforces the brand's legibility and recognition. These visual elements ensure consistency across all communications and the design of the platform.
Attractive visuals for social networks have been designed to promote PeetchMe and engage the target community. These visuals use elements of the graphic charter to ensure a consistent and professional online presence, attracting the attention of entrepreneurs and startups. The visuals include banners, cover images, and ready-to-use posts to support launch and communication campaigns.
Start of design of the platform experience
I mapped out the user journey on PeetchMe, from creating a profile to connecting with a potential partner. Key stages include registering, personalising the profile, searching for partners, and using compatibility tools to assess matches. I've identified potential sticking points, such as the complexity of the search, and provided solutions to minimise them.
I developed low-fidelity wireframes to visualise the structure of the platform, focusing on clear and intuitive navigation. Interactive prototypes were then created to simulate the user experience. These prototypes were tested with a sample of users to identify where improvements were needed.
Creation of the design system and style guide
I developed a design system for PeetchMe, including a harmonious colour palette, modern typography and coherent interface components. This system ensures a professional appearance while guaranteeing a fluid and accessible user experience.
Creation of web and mobile interfaces
Final design
The high-fidelity mockups were created by integrating the elements of the design system. These mockups showcase a clean, intuitive interface, tailored to the needs identified during user testing. Additional checks were carried out to ensure that the design was both visually appealing and easy to use.
User test
The mockups were tested with a group of users to gather feedback on visual appeal and functionality. Adjustments were made in response to the feedback to maximise engagement and visual clarity, ensuring that the final design met user expectations.
